Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern the use of the Lemono Payments web application and interfaces (hereinafter "the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Nature of the Service

The Service is a **non-custodial front-end client interface** that allows users to process Web3 crypto payments using the USDC stablecoin on public blockchains.

  • The Service operators do not own, control, store, or hold custody of your digital assets, private keys, or seed phrases.
  • All transactions are executed directly by the user via their connected Web3 wallet (e.g. MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet).

2. Platform Fees & Payout Split

By creating or paying through a Lemono link, you agree to the following split structure:

  • Platform Fee: A flat **2%** fee is automatically split and sent directly to the Lemono fee address (`0xdbB1fFBc48DAda782e43EAF125b92F0534560d87`).
  • Merchant Payout: The remaining **98%** (excluding network gas fees) is transferred directly to the payout wallet specified during the link creation.

3. User Responsibilities & Disclaimer

  • Incorrect Addresses: Digital asset transfers are irreversible on public blockchains. If a merchant enters an incorrect payout address, or if a buyer signs a wrong transaction, the Service cannot refund, rollback, or recover the funds.
  • Compliance: Users are solely responsible for ensuring their use of the Service complies with the tax laws and regulations in their respective jurisdictions.

4. Service Availability

The Service is subject to blockchain congestion, gas price spikes, forks, contract deprecation, or internet routing failures. The Service operators are not responsible for transaction failures, delayed confirmation, or loss of access arising from external blockchain events.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind. Under no circumstances shall the Service operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this software.
